Video-mapping
This project was created as a part of an exhibition reminding us of the importance of democracy, freedom, and acceptance and referred to the atrocious deportations of Jews dung World War II.
Part of this event (November 16th- 17th, 2021) was video-mapping on a building of the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic. The video mapping animation was created using Bender software. The initial part was creating a simplified 3D digital model of the building. Since the visuals in the animation consisted of several parts and were done in collaboration of four people ( Jana P. Francová, Filip Zlacký, Filip Opálený and myself), we had to set consistent output parameters at the very beginning. Then we created 3D models in the scene. I was responsible for creating physical simulations in the animation. There were different types of smoke from different windows, blood filling up the building, and blood dripping from the eyes of the statues on the building making them seem like they cried. These were rendered with the Cycles renderer.
In the end, the different parts of the animation were put together by the artist and our leader Jana P. Francová to the live music played by musician Tomáš Vtípil.
