A selection of digital models created from scratch or from medical imaging techniques (CT, MRI, PET). Some of the models were used in 3D and 2D animations or simple application built.

Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD)

A short informational animation about PKD using combination of 2D and 3D animation.

Microbial Gut-brain Axis Communication

This is a combination of 2D and 3D animation to give more spatial understanding to the movement of molecules throughout the body.

Arm: 3D Reconstruction From Grey’s Anatomy

This 3D animation was created in 3Ds Max. The models were build by moving vertices, veins an nerves with cylinders and extrusion. The animation was rendered in the software.

KARE Trial Unity Application

The KARE Trial (Ketamine for Reduction of Alcohol Relapse) is a project that was carried by the researchers at the University of Exeter and the University College London. The clinical trial was used as a concept to create a mock application in the Unity Game Engine to practice basic coding in C#, creation and importing of 3D models, 2D animation creation, and user interface. The application was done in collaboration with my then classmate, Jackie Zurowski, who also has an undergraduate background in Psychology (University of Toronto) and deep interest in Psychology.
