European Researchers’ Night
The European Researcher’s Night took place on September 30th, 2022. On this Friday, research institutions across Europe opened their doors to the public to present the work ongoing inside.
Visitlab and HCI Lab from the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University, had several different displays, ranging from representations of how to see the effects of global warming inferred from snow measurements in Antarctica with bamboo sticks, representing chromatin or new visualisation of molecular dynamics, to VR applications. I was very happy to be taking care of the Anatomy Corner, where I presented 2D projections onto a 3D-printed hand to show the anatomy of the forearm. Overall, it was a great night spent next to colleagues and talking to a bunch of strangers about science.
