(Defunct Residencies of Moravia and Silesia)

This lovely exhibition in Šumperk combines art, technology, and cultural heritage to present the extinct cities in Moravia. It also allowed for collaboration between experts from different disciplines and across different institutions such as Medel University, Masaryk University, and Museum in Šumperk.

The exhibition showcases many interesting reconstructions, such as 3D prints, 3D reconstructions in Augmented Reality, and 3D prints…

I am very happy that I had the opportunity to part take in digital reconstruction in one of the towns, Muzlov, by digitally reconstructing it in Blender from old photos. The model was then 3D printed and used in the exhibition.
